Notably, we stand as the sole undergraduate academy in the state with an exclusive partnership with SkinMedica for treatments, products, and peels, making them our preferred cosmeceutical line.

Our 28-bed Student Spa is designed to create a genuine professional atmosphere where you can gain practical experience with real clients. Regardless of your chosen career path within the beauty industry, whether it’s in a spa, dermatology office, or working with a skincare product line, our Esthetics program will provide you with the educational foundation to start and grow your career.

*Our 4-day schedule is a 20-week program, while both our 2-day schedule and 4-night schedule are 30-week programs, incorporating a portion of distance education/online delivery.

Program Details

  • 600 hours
  • 4-Day schedule: 20 weeks (30 hours/week): Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • 2-Day schedule: 30 weeks (16 hours/week on campus) Monday & Tuesday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
    • *Four hours per week of distance learning off site, online and at your convenience
  • 4-Night schedule: 30 weeks (16 hours/week on campus) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm

Curriculum

Graduating from Penrose Academy’s Esthetics Program will give you a deep understanding of medical esthetics, dermaplaning, peels, waxing, facials and the entire business of the spa industry. In addition, you’ll learn in our 28-bed Student Spa, where you’ll have hands-on experience with real guests.

Your full-time Esthetics program will be divided into four zones, while Esthetics part-time programs will be divided into three zones. Each curriculum includes our 6 R’s education, a comprehensive professional and personal development program designed to build your business and professional skills.
