Congratulations to Penrose Academy Cosmetology students Ashley W. and Deseray G. who are both the recipients of Beauty Changes Lives Vidal Sassoon Basic Scholarships!
Ashley is pursuing a career in the professional beauty industry because she wants to be a change in the world and show people their own version of beauty. Deseray is pursuing a career in the professional beauty industry after being inspired family and friends who are part of the industry. Ashley and Deseray both created a video submissions to apply for the scholarship explaining why the professional beauty industry was so meaningful to them and why they each decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. Beauty Changes Lives along with Modern Salon announced Ashley and Deseray as winners on April 13, 2017. The Vidal Sassoon Beauty Changes Lives Basic Scholarship provides the winners with one half of their tuition paid, up to $10,000.
